Feather Suite

One of our larger rooms, the Feather Suite comes with a King Bed and a cozy sectional couch that transforms into a queen-sized sleeper. This King Suite is perfect for cozy romantic stays or a getaway for families - including your own full, private bath.

Enjoy the gorgeous views of the Downie River from your own private balcony a stone's throw from the rushing waters. Step out your door and be welcomed by the streets of Historic Downtown Downieville and see the famous Jersey Bridge! All of our local restaurants and the Historic St Charles Place Bar are all within a short walk across the street!

The Feather Suite has a mini kitchen with a sink, fridge, toaster, and microwave for your pleasure. The private balcony over the river includes a seating area to take in the sights and sounds of the rushing river below.

AGATE Suite

Relax in the plush leather chair overlooking the beautiful Downie River that flows directly below your sliding glass door, with access to your private balcony.

From the cozy comfortable Queen Sized banister oak bed, to the relaxing sounds of nature - you will unwind while enjoying your stay in Downieville, CA. Complete with mini-fridge, and microwave. Our Queen Deluxe room includes a full, private bath.

The private balcony over the Downie River includes a seating area to take in the sights and sounds of the surrounding National Forest.

SIERRA Suite

Our most popular room, including your own full, private bath. This comfortable Queen Suite has several river views and features a Queen sized bed and sofa to relax on while watching Netflix or enjoying the lush sounds of the surrounding National Forest.

Did you head out to the trails? Catch a shuttle up and get in late? No worries! This is a great room to relax in after your adventures in Downieville. Equipped with a microwave and refrigerator for you to use during your stay.

The Sierra Suite has one of the largest private balconies at Carriage House Inn, including a love-seat with a coffee table and two chairs to take in the ambiance of the rushing river below.

YUBA Suite

This Queen Suite features large windows with an authentic, mid-century love seat overlooking the Durgan Bridge and Historic Downtown Downieville with a gorgeous peak-a-boo view of the confluence beaches of the Downie and North Yuba Rivers.

The Yuba Suite includes a full, private bath alongside a nook that includes a mini fridge and microwave to enjoy at your leisure.

Perfect for a romantic getaway or a relaxing night after your adventure filled days of hiking, riding the trails, or simply enjoying the treasures the forest has to offer.

This charming Queen Deluxe room captures Historic Downtown Downieville perfectly. Featuring a queen-sized platform bed, Asian-mod inspired décor, a mini fridge, microwave and two cozy chairs to sit back and enjoy the views and sounds of the surrounding forest.

Perfect for a romantic getaway or a cozy space to rest between days filled full of adventure.

The St. Charles Jr. Suite includes a full, private bath. 

CRAYCROFT ROOM

Being that the Craycroft is our most affordable Queen** Room, it doesn't mean you sacrifice comfort! This room has a view of all the action Downieville provides! Including, the Highway 49 Jersey Bridge over the Downie River and the famous Craycroft Building across the street - home of historic (and still in operation), St. Charles Place Bar, which was once the longest bar in California! The scene is ever changing and beautiful, no matter the season. The Queen sized bed offers a restful and comfortable night's sleep.

**Please Note: The bathroom does not have a private shower or bathtub within the room. The shower is a communal shower down the hallway, shared with the Jersey Bridge Room, across the hall. However, the Craycroft does include a private room with a toilet.

Our second most affordable King** Room boasts a King-sized wrought iron bed to greet you after a day in the Tahoe National Forest. Enjoy the charming views of the historic Highway 49 and the 1938 Jersey Bridge, all while enjoying the cascading sounds and visuals of the Downie River from your private balcony!

Your private balcony over the river includes a generous love seat and coffee table, perfect for taking in the beautiful surrounding forest and Downie River.

**Please Note: the Jersey Bridge does not have a private shower or bathtub within the room. The shower is a communal shower down the hallway, shared with the Craycroft Room, across the hall. However, the room does have a private room which includes a toilet.

River Loft

Come and relax on your private balcony while staying in one of the most centrally located apartment-style lofts in historic Downieville, CA. The River Loft has a king sized bed, large sleeper couch, full kitchen, private bathroom with a tub and shower and boasts a large back deck overlooking Boomtown Backyard and the confluence of the North Yuba and Downie Rivers.

Please inform us in advance if you are bringing a pet! We love to make our accommodations cozy for our canine friends, too.

There is a cleaning fee for the River Loft of $90, added onto all reservations.

There is no smoking allowed inside or on the patio.

Downie Loft

Beautiful apartment-style loft located on the top floor of Empire Creek Provisions (Home of Cold Rush Cafe). The loft includes a queen bed in a private room, full bathroom with shower, and a full kitchen with a furnished living room including a double sleeper couch and flat screen TV. Centrally located, the apartment is in walking distance from all of the local shops and restaurants.

Dogs are allowed with a pet fee - please let us know if you are bringing a pet so we can make sure it is as comfortable as you are. 

No smoking is allowed inside the apartment or on the balconies. 

There is a cleaning fee included on all reservations for the Downie Loft of $80.

Yuba Loft

Beautiful 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment located on the top floor of Empire Creek Provisions and Cold Rush Cafe. The apartment includes a queen sized bed in a private room, full bathroom with a shower, full kitchen with oven, stove, and microwave and a furnished living room with double sleeper couch and flat screen TV. Centrally located in the cornerstone yellow building, the apartment is in walking distance from the bike shops, bar, river, cafes and has parking located in the rear. 

Dogs are allowed with a pet fee- please let us know if you are bringing a pet so we can make sure it is as comfortable as you are. 

No smoking allowed inside the apartment or on the balconies.

There is a cleaning fee included in all reservations of the Yuba Loft for $80.
